We believe good design is grounded in continuous learning. As responsible designers, we continually explore emerging knowledge, ideas, and innovations across the built environment, using research to deepen our understanding of how people, places, and environments interact.

 

Research is an integral part of our design practice. We identify relevant and timely questions, undertake independent research, and translate our findings into practical insights that help us develop more thoughtful, effective, and responsible design strategies. This ongoing process allows us to continually refine our approach, respond to changing needs, and create better outcomes for our clients, communities, and the environment.

 

Through our Sharing and Dialogue series, we extend this exchange beyond academia and the design profession. We share our research, ideas, and experiences with practitioners, students, community members, and the wider public, often in collaboration with universities, non-profits, and industry partners.

 

For us, research is not an end in itself. We research to design better, and we share what we learn to contribute to a broader culture of knowledge, dialogue, and positive change.
